Before It Ships

Each ring is inspected against its certificate before it leaves us — stone secure, prongs closed, no marks on the band. That check is the reason dispatch takes one to three days rather than same-day. We would rather find a problem than have you find it.

You will receive two emails. The first confirms the order. The second, sent when the parcel is collected, carries the tracking number and the insurance reference. If only the first has arrived, the ring has not left yet.

Things Worth Knowing
01Signature on delivery, always
We cannot authorise a parcel to be left unattended, regardless of instructions at checkout. If nobody is home the carrier will card you for collection at a depot or post office.
02The outer packaging is plain
Nothing on the carton says jewellery, and there is no branding on the label. If the ring is a surprise, the delivery will not spoil it.
03Tracking lags the label
The number is issued when the label is created, often several hours before the first carrier scan. A quiet link for a day is normal.
04Deliver to an address with someone at it
A workplace is usually better than a house, given the signature requirement. You can nominate one at checkout.
05Peak periods stretch the window
The fortnight before Christmas and the run into Valentine's Day both add days at the carrier's end. We post known delays on the site.
Tracked from our bench to your hand.
If a parcel stalls, email us. We hold the insurance reference and we will chase the carrier ourselves.
